Retail Store Credit Cards - A Great Way To Establish Solid Credit

When a person is just starting to establish a credit history they are often advised to get retail store credit cards. These credit cards are not backed by a major credit card company, but do still report to the major credit bureaus. Retail store credit cards are issued by a retail store and can only be used for that particular retail store. There are many benefits to this type of card.

First of all, retail store credit cards are easier to get than other credit cards. The balances are usually rather low, so if a person defaults the retail store can usually obtain their money easily without a huge loss. They work somewhat like a traditional credit card, but can only be used as the issuing retailers locations. A person charges their purchases to the card and then is given a grace period to pay the balance.

If the balance is not paid the person is charged interest. One of the reasons retail store cards are easier to get than other credit cards is because the retailer is guaranteed to get your business. The card can not be used elsewhere, so every time the cardholder uses it they are making money off of it. Additionally, it is a way for the retailer to make a little extra money off fees and interest charges.

Some of the perks of having a retail store credit card start coming the minute a person signs up. Many retail stores now offer a person a discount on purchases made the day they sign up for their card. This tempting offer not only allows a person to save on their purchases, but also helps them keep their money in their pocket, at least for that day.

Many times the discount offer is also paired with a free gift, like an umbrella, cosmetics or other store merchandise. Holders of a retail store credit card may also get special notices about sales before the general public or even receive rewards for using their card.

Retail store credit cards are becoming very popular. Many people find them easy to get and the additional perks make them worthwhile. Retail store cards can also help a person budget their purchases and can come in handy for early bird sale specials. Retail store cards are a great way to build credit while also learning about how credit cards work because they do not allow a person to spend money anywhere except at the particular store, which can help curb overspending.

This Writer Knew The "Law Of Attraction" And "The Secret" All Along!

When life coach Bill Mayer talks about asking the right questions to achieve the life you dream about, the man knows of what he speaks! As a kid, he enjoyed the quintessential, picture perfect life. You know, Americana style. He was a high school honors student and prized athlete. He went home each night to the bosom of a loving and intact family. And like any adolescent, he wrestled with feelings of discontent and teenage angst. Normal, right? Right. What was different about young Bill, though, was the profound direction he took toward finding his own answers.

At the ripe old age of 15, Bill set himself on a mission to figure out what life was all about by studying transcendental meditation. This early exploration of his own personal, defining questions set a precedent for his lifes work, and the rest, as they say, is history. Several decades later, Bill is now a renowned life coach, in-demand public speaker and author of The Magic in Asking the Right Questions: Create Your Destiny Through Power Thinking.

Bill recently joined us for At the Table, a weekly teleconference where we have the pleasure of talking with writers from every imaginable genre. We at Writers of the Round Table Inc. offer this free weekly forum where participants have the opportunity to hear insider information from successful writers, producers, editors, and agents, as well as a chance to ask questions about the industry, writing, publishing, tips to get ahead and creative inspiration.

Known as Coach to the Stars, Bill has touched the lives of Oprah Winfrey, Julia Roberts, and numerous other celebrities. His life-changing book, its accompanying audio tapes/CDs, Master Your Questions, Master Your Life, and his no-nonsense but gentle coaching style continually bring profound results to his clients. His approach focuses on conscious intention and empowers people to ask the tough questions that produce the most gratifying results.

Making the decision to put his years of researchasking himself those right questions and teaching others to do the sameinto a tangible form, Bill wrote his book in record time. When weighing options for publishing, he decided to retain control over his remarkable content and self-publish. He said that when deciding on someone to design artwork and handle formatting, you really do get what you pay for! So self-publishers be aware; a professional looking, quality produced manuscript will speak volumes about your integrity, not to mention your marketability, should your book do well and eventually spark the interest of agents or publishers.

Bills general philosophy is based on the concept of power thinking. Power Thinking is taking responsibility for your own thinking and striving to improve the quality of your thoughts by consistently asking yourself empowering questions. Bill says that its these very specific questions that have the power to transform your life. From the questions come the answers that decide the appropriate and necessary actions. Makes sense!

In our discussion, Bill referenced ideals that have become virtual buzzwords since the hit film The Secret started its sweep through our culture. But Bill was addressing the Law of Attraction, Expectations, Correspondence, and Cause and Effect over 10 years ago, when he wrote his book. Those fundamental laws all relate to asking yourself the intentional questions that will bring your daily walk in line with your highest values.

He told an endearing story about working with Oprah as her tennis coach. She flew him out from California to Chicago on a regular basis. Each time he arrived, there was a vase full of fresh roses in the guesthouse for himhand picked by Oprah herself. Interesting he says, that one of the richest, most successful women in the world, lives her life aware that, what you put out is what you get back. Thats the Law of Attraction for you!

Bill calls his family his reason to be and lives in beautiful Pauma Valley, California with his wife Nancy, daughter Adelaide, and son Billy. For more information on Bills products, services, and programs, visit www.askbillmayer.com.

In the meantime, keep your rear in the chair, your fingers on the keys, and your writing reaching for the stars!

Can a Person Become Addicted or Masturbate Too Much?

There is a big question that many people want answers too. Masturbation is a topic many people feel uneasy to talk about. The stigma attached to it is unfounded and unjust. We have been throughout history by people in power (religious leaders) that it is a sin and wrong.

Well people everyone masturbates Alfred Kinsey in published his results after a 15 year studies in the late 1940s to early 1950s that stated 95% of males and 60% of females had masturbated. A later study by The National Life Survey confirmed these results suggesting 48-95% of people masturbate.

There is no mythical figure that is normal. The amount of times that people masturbate is up to the individual. Professors do agree that there are no physical or mental implications for frequent masturbation, unless it can be linked to a symptomatic or obsessive/compulsive disorder (OCD). The easy way to spot this type of behaviour is if it starts to interfere with your daily life such as professional responsibilities or personal relationships.

Masturbation can alleviate tension and does have benefits. Research by Australias Cancer Council Victoria found that the more you often that a man ejaculates during the ages of 20 to 50, the less likely they were to suffer the diseases that kills more than a million men each year such as prostate cancer.

The survey of 1,079 prostate cancer patients and 1,259 healthy men found that those who masturbated had sex at least once a day in their 20s were are third less likely to suffer the predicament

The overall conclusion is that you have to be honest with yourself. If masturbation is damaging your work life or a personal relationship then maybe you have a problem. If not lie back and think of England!

What is the average size of a penis is a webiste dedicated to sexual health. It explains penile cancer and how to deal with it. It covers a range of masturbation issues too.
