Stop Wasting Money On Supplements!

All of you know them, our health food stores, piled up different supplements. And internet sites selling the panacea (cure all) to solve all your problems. Probably most of us have bought them; many different kinds of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, herbal supplements, essential oils etc.

Do you have a similar experience as I have? Buying them and not always emptying them, because it does not feel right, because you forget to take them or because someone tells you not to take them? And when you clean out your kitchen or bathroom cupboards, you find them after their expiration date?

This used to be my case. Nowadays I dont use them anymore. Most supplements are highly processed chemical products, although the ingredients are natural, they are not a natural product at all. The more I learn about diet and the energy of the food I eat, the less interested I am in supplements.

If you realize how complicated the chemical balance in your body is, you will realize that under normal circumstances it will be easier to throw the body off balance by adding some substances in high dosages than to balance it. Recently there was an interesting international discussion about anti-oxidants. Danish researchers stated that antioxidants increased mortality. This research was based upon 68 random trials. (http://jama.ama-assn.org/cgi/content/abstract/297/8/842). The benefit of using supplements is not as clear yet, as is suggested.

I often test my patients with Touch For Health, a way of muscle testing, to find out which food or supplement is good for a person and which one is not. In my experience most supplements dont test good. There are some though, that work well for many people. Would you like to know which ones and would you like to know more about a natural diet, that restores optimum health?
